BUILDING CHRIST-CENTERED HOMES, GENERATION TO GENERATION
“THESE COMMANDMENTS THAT I GIVE YOU TODAY ARE TO BE UPON YOUR HEARTS. IMPRESS THEM ON YOUR CHILDREN. TALK ABOUT THEM WHEN YOU SIT AT HOME AND WHEN
YOU WALK ALONG THE ROAD, WHEN YOU LIE DOWN AND WHEN YOU GET UP.” dEUTERONOMY 6:6-7
At Gateway, we desire to build future generations that will whole-heartedly follow the Lord. We believe that the most effective ministry in the life of our youth is that which takes place in the home. This happens as parents and guardians take the initiative to diligently teach and impress upon their children the truths of God’s Word; that is, live out Deuteronomy 6:6-7 in their family life.
We want to partner with families to build Christ-centered homes, passing on a legacy of faith from generation to generation. Gateway Youth Ministry desires to be a resource for families to find and equip the tools needed to build Godly homes for generations to come.
WELCOME TO THE GYM
Gateway Youth Ministry (GYM) has the core purpose of helping students in grades 6-12 become better disciples of Jesus Christ. We want them to actively demonstrate their love for him by seeking to know God and make Him known. Through-out the year we participate in service projects, mission trips, and many fun activities.
JOIN US EVERY SUNDAY @ 10AM FOR BIBLE CLASS AND EVERY SUNDAY NIGHT:
Middle School 6Pm, High school 7PM.
SUNDAY MORNINGS
LifeGroups are Bible classes offered at 10:00am every Sunday. Middle and High School students meet in the classroom near the Stage 2 room where they’ll learn to critically consider their faith in order to develop a deeper, more personal relationship with God and others.
SUNDAY NIGHT FLIP
Teens need community just as much as they need faith. They need a place to be encouraged, uplifted, and supported in their spiritual life. At Sunday Night Flip we do a variety of discussion, study, service, and activity in a more relaxed environment. Middle School @ 6PM, High School @ 7PM.
MIDWEEK (WEDNESDAY) PROGRAMMING
During the school year, families have the opportunity to come together each Wednesday to dive a little deeper into God’s Word and have some fun at the same time! Join us for a meal provided by our wonderful kitchen crew at 5:45pm in the Gym, followed by programming at 6:30pm. Classes are offered for all ages - infant through adult. Youth participate in discussion, study, and activities. Families can join us at any time! RSVPs are not required.
